Hi everyone! I am so excited to have found this thread! I too just finished the supplemental app and am waiting and hoping for acceptance. Has anyone heard anything yet? I was really hoping to know by this week (wishful thinking maybe). Good luck to you all!

Does anybody know roughly how many applicants they received this cycle? From what I read it's been more but I don't know what their numbers have been like to begin with.... anyone have any ideas???

I have been hearing all sorts of things, I hear that its a lower number of applicants and then I hear its the highest number of applicants they have ever had. I'm dying to know as well. Since, UTHSCSA is on spring break. I don't think we will hear from them with acceptance till at least three more weeks. Dying to find out!

Usually there's 500-600 applicants for 140-ish available seats. My semester (currently first semester) there was only around 300. I've heard there was more for fall 2012 because of glitches from my semester.

& us students are just on spring break, faculty/staff are still there.

Found some stats from the Spring 2012 class

Average Scores:

Pre-Requisite GPA: 3.39

Cumulative GPA: 3.33

TEAS 5.0: 76.77

These are more accurate and applicable than what was given to us in the e-mail.

i think generally the fall semester brings in more applicants than the spring so its more competitive. has anyone heard anything yet?

Anybody have any info about when to expect notification about acceptance...or not

The only thing I found was in my supplemental email stating that decisions would be made by

mid-March. I was looking on Fall 2011 thread, and it was April 1. Just wondering...

I called today to ask that question and they said they will send acceptance emails by the end of this month.

I just heard a RUMOR, so I do not know whether it is true, but they said emails have gone out and letters might be out by Friday...

has anyone heard anything?
