UTHSCSA-Fall 2011

Hi All,

Since January 10th was the application deadline, do any of you have an idea as to when the earliest when we will hear from UTHSC-San Antonio? I already have my bachelor's degree in a non-nursing subject but I opted for the 2-year traditional route because the accelerated program just seemed too intense. Are there other 2nd degree folks out there applying to the 2 year program as well? Good luck to you all! I hope we are all there in the Fall!

Yes, this morning.. It says my application is eligible but has nothing about a TEAS invite, and it says just to review everything for any errors.

I heard that they are two weeks behind and that some people may not even get a TEAS invite until the end of this month. :confused: They fell behind because they had a sudden spike in applicants right at the end, and then the power outages, and closures due to the weather this last week did not help.

At least my file was complete as far as I know. I can't believe I have to wait even longer. :uhoh3:

How frustrating! I wonder if the sudden spike in applicants at the very end was due to accd not sending out their transcripts! I know I had problems with mine, they did not tell anyone they were not sending them out until after January 15th.

Im still hoping they will send the TEAs invite soon! Do you know where we will take it?

I had problems with ACCD too. I was so mad when I called after my grades posted and they told me about the transcripts. I went in on the 10th and was able to get mine from SAC.

As far as the TEAS, I think they have them at UTHSCSA or UTSA--not too sure. I took mine at Texas State in San Marcos already.

I just received the "Transcript Evaluateion Worksheet" email from UTHSCSA also. My status is "Eligible" so I called the Registrar to see if that was the same thing as a "TEAS V" invitation. She said, "No." I wonder why they would tease us like this!?!

I got an Excel document called "Transcript Eval" back in December. Is that what you all are talking about?

Hi Kye, I think I got the same Transcript Eval. Excel that you did. Maybe they just wanted to make sure I had a copy for my records b/c Anatomy, Micro and Stats are still pending for me. Either way, I just received the TEAS invite via email! Phew, now I just need to start studying!

Me too! :yeah::yeah:I'm so excited. I thought my GPA was a lot higher. I think I am going to have to retake that TEAS again to score better and be more competetive.

I hope I get in.
