UTHSCSA Accelerated BSN 2018

Hello everyone! I am applying to the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Accelerated program and also the traditional program. I wanted to start a thread since I haven't seen one yet. Anyone else out there wanting to apply to the program too? I am currently finishing my Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology II classes and then I plan to take the TEAS VI this summer. Would love to hear from others planning to apply to the program!

Yes, you'll get the acceptance letter via email. Last year they came out at the end of the business day!

Hi everyone, im another applicant waiting nervously for the email. This past month and a half has been torture since i submitted my application! The admission representives have been extremely helpful through this whole process, thankfully. I just want to know already if i need to apply for the traditional route or not. So happy i found this thread and Im glad im not the only one in this predicament. Good luck to you all!

So just got off the phone with the school of nursing. They told me they are working on the letters now and are trying to send them out today, and if not, tomorrow. I feel like today is going by so slow! This wait is causing me to have anxiety!

It's 6:12 and I have received no notice. Seeing as the deadline for the traditional program is Feb 1st, I guess there's little choice but to resend documents and pay up for another application. I'll check that everything is assembled, and wait for a while longer...

EDIT: Yeah, waiting 'til tomorrow to send a new application.

I guess we start the nail biting dance again come morning!

I received my decision tbis evening. Unfortunately it was a no. I am heart broken to say the least but excited for you all who get into this program.

Hopeful, I'm sorry to hear that! I was sort of wondering if we would all meet in class some time. (Of course, that's still a distinct possibility!) Thank you for letting us know that notices are beginning to go out.
