UTHSCSA Accelerated BSN Summer 2015

Hi everyone!

I looked and looked on here but I didn't see a thread for people applying to the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Accelerated BSN Summer 2015 program, so I thought I'd start a thread. I just submitted my application (kind of late I know). How's it going for everyone?

Hey everyone, is there a Facebook group for our class? If not, I can make one. Also, has anyone signed up for a BLS course yet?

I don't know about the FB, because I don't have one. I was going to look into when and where to take the BLS course. Have you signed up yet?

Nah I haven't signed up yet, but I'm looking at classes right now. I'm thinking I'll probably go with CPR Heart of Angels though. Their website says it's $55 and includes the book.

I was looking at taking the BLS course at CPR Heart of Angels as well. Either this week if they have openings or next week some time.

I'm going with CPR Heart of Angels in a couple of weeks. I haven't found a Facebook page but I think it would be helpful!

Nevermind on that lol. I signed up to take it on Tuesday from 9-1 but only 1 location showed up so it's kind of south side.������

Hello, all! Congratulations to those who got accepted:yes:. I let everyone know, even strangers on the street (not really), when I received my acceptance email on Friday. I was a bit doubtful since I didn't do well on the TEAS (82 and change). Glad I found this thread since I don't have Facebook. Am I the only oldie (39) here or are there others? It'll be interesting to see everyone face to face in May.

I signed up for the course at CPR Heart of Angels this Wednesday. You reserve though the American Heart Association site, then call CPR Heart of Angels through the email you receive afterwards to make sure your spot is reserved. The lady I spoke to on the phone was really nice. It's $55, cash only, which includes the book.
