UTHSC Traditional BSN Spring 2014 Applicants

I have seen many threads for previous applicants for past semesters to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I wanted to start one myself as I am applying for the spring 2014 traditional BSN and have yet to find a thread for it. Although I opened it for applicants, I would also encourage previous applicants, current/previous students, and applicants for other semesters at UTHSC to join in and share in this exciting time!

@flower23 I'm still waiting on a decision. I live in Dallas too. I've been following this page for a while now and congrats to everyone that has gotten accepted!! I'm still waiting on a decision and it's driving me crazy... Keep your fingers crossed :)

Hi flower23,

I was put on the wait list, and I received an e-mail first. I forgot to check my mail yesterday to see if there was even a letter giving the same information. Also, yesterday evening I received another e-mail saying myUTH status had changed. I had already checked myUTH earlier in the day and it had changed to a yellow triangle... so it appears that maybe there was a slight delay in their e-mail notification saying my status had changed online.

My status changed first on MyUTH and then shortly after I received an email about the wait list.

I got a denial letter today. Still have a green dot and no email yet. G'd luck yall

@c.a.woz, Wow your stats are impressive. They are near perfect. I can't believe why you wouldn't get accepted or even wait listed either. This school I don't know even know what to expect. Good luck and hopefully you'll get into another nursing school or this school if you reapply!:)

Anyways, I too got a rejection letter. I wasn't surprise either because some people here with higher stats than me didn't get in. Oh well...anyways, I did get accepted to TWU so I'll start there.

I received my acceptance packet today. So everyone start looking in your mail boxes for it. Orientation is going to be an all day event.. oh boy..

Good luck to everyone that has been accepted, and that are on the waiting list. It appears that I am out of the race. I seem to have accidentally applied to the wrong program. So I need to try again for summer now. I don't see how I did that, but that is what they told me when I called to check on my status because I have not heard anything one way or the other.
