UTHSC Traditional BSN Spring 2014 Applicants

I have seen many threads for previous applicants for past semesters to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I wanted to start one myself as I am applying for the spring 2014 traditional BSN and have yet to find a thread for it. Although I opened it for applicants, I would also encourage previous applicants, current/previous students, and applicants for other semesters at UTHSC to join in and share in this exciting time!

Heard that the admissions committee is meeting at the end of the week to review applicants ....

I spoke to the Student Affairs/BSN counseling for the RN-BSN program Spring 2014 semester and they both stated that final decisions and letters will be mailed out this and next week. I asked her about the status checker and she said it may or may not email you to say to check your status because it has been updated! This is such a difficult time period bc it's so close to the truth but prayers and good luck to all of us...

That's a relief. Oh the stress and all the feels of waiting come to an end! I've limited checking online to only three times a day now!!! Hopefully that green dot of dispair will become a checkmark

AGREED!!! I just wish they would send out the denials!!! That way I can move on to plan B! This is enough to drive someone to drinkin'! I'm curious if they actually ever change the status from that green little dot that I hate so much to the denial sign of the red circle with a red denial bar.

Still a green circle for me. Last year forum's 2nd wave of acceptances came on Nov 6. So I bet either later today or next week.
