I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

For the people who are on the waitlist for Fall 2016, if we do not get accepted do we have automatic admission for Spring 2016 or do we have to reapply?
I found out I got in this past Monday. I would call, but if you don't get in for Fall, you still need to reapply to Spring. I hear if you were on waitlist before that your chances are higher next round to get in.
Were you on the waitlist for Fall 2016? I called them this past Tuesday and they told me that they won't notify me until August 15th which is a little scary since the spring application deadline is also August 15th.
Yes, I was on the waitlist. I'm scrambling to get everything done, as classes start on the 29th and registration is the 26th, and bootcamp is the 23rd, but I had accepted to another school, so I have a lot of things ready. I hope! Prepare to reapply and hit the send button just in case! On the flip side that you get accepted make sure you have your vaccinations ready, and ALL prerequisites completed and sent to school. I had joined the FB group months ago just in case too. Good luck!

Has anyone on the waitlist heard anything? Last year they started accepting off the waitlist in May
