Hey guys, just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON hopefuls who are applying for Spring 2016. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin to play what seems to be the longest waiting game ever! I am more than confident that each and every one of us will be receiving our acceptance letters around this same time next year:) Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!
From my experience on the forum last semester they send acceptances out in waves, I think it was over 3 or 4 days. Like I said, I got rejected for that term and I got an email saying to check my status on MyUTH, I think that was on the 4th day and it was later in the day around 4:30/5 pm
WHOA!!! I had a lot of catching up to do on this forum. Congratulations to all of you who have been accepted. I was rejected for Fall 2015 and decided to give it another try for the spring. I haven't received an email yet, so I have a little more waiting to do. UT is the only BSN school I applied to. I didn't do well on the TEAS so that eliminated my chances of going to the schools that require it. I applied to a couple of ADN programs. I got into one them and I'm still waiting to hear from the second school. Of course I didn't want to take the extra long route of getting my ADN and then going back for my BSN, but at this point I have start somewhere. Congrats again to everyone who got in, and to those who are on the waitlist. In my opinion the waitlist is better than being rejected. That at least means you were chosen, but that can only accept so many people. There are some people who will decline and that will open the door for the waitlist people.
