Hi everyone. I made this post to connect with others that might be applying to the FNP program at UTHSC. I have my interview today and I am excited/ nervous.

Hey there! I didn’t apply for FNP but PMHNP for fall 2021. Congratulations on getting an interview!! How did it go?
It was very laid back. I feel like it went well, but I'm nervous because they said they will only accept 25 students. I hope they call you for an interview! Good luck!!

Glad to hear that. I was invited for an interview which is Monday ?. Super excited and a little nervous. I was told that they are laid back interviews. Was it more than one faculty?
Yes, I had two faculty members.
Wishing you the best as well!?

HI!! I too had an interview for the PMHNP-DNP program. Any admissions correspondence yet?
Not yet. I know at the end of my interview they told me when they would let us know, but I was so nervous that I forgot what date they said! Hopefully soon!
Those are my exact sentiments!! ??.
I feel like I was told between this week and next week, so I am concluding that by the end of February we should know. I was beyond nervous, I had a horrible start to my workday and interviewed during my lunch break. But it was very laid back. Are you already in TN?
Yep, I'm already in TN. I went to UTHSC for my BSN so I really hope I get in. It would be nice to go to a school I'm familiar with. I'm beyond nervous. I think my interview went well but they said they are only accepting 25 students ? good luck to you!! Are you outside of TN?
Thanks, BEST OF LUCK FOR YOU TOO! You’re a step ahead, being part of the Alumni ?? I am currently in NC but plan on moving to maybe Nashville. Considered Memphis too, but I hear not great things about the city.
Every city has its good and bad. I grew up around the Nashville area, but I honestly love Memphis more. Both are good cities. If you do decide on Memphis, I can offer advice on some areas you might feel comfortable living.
