UTHSC (Memphis) DNP FNP 2021

Hi everyone. I made this post to connect with others that might be applying to the FNP program at UTHSC. I have my interview today and I am excited/ nervous.

I work for Methodist. I like the system as a whole. The patient ratios are usually more reasonable but the pay is less. Baptist and St Francis pay more, but the ratios are crazy high.

Hey there! As of today, have heard nothing. I do remember faculty saying last interview for PMHNP program was February 8th and that they'd make decision before end of February.

I'd be happy to share about hospitals in Memphis. I've worked for Regional One, Lebonheur Children's, Methodist North, and Baptist System in my decade of nursing ☺️
 

I share the same sentiments as mndavis; Memphis gets a bad rep but it's a beautifully inviting city. I feel safe all the time and I love it! Been here 15 years. I'm a millennial BTW, if that makes any difference ?

Has anyone received admissions correspondence? I interviewed for the PMHNP program in late January and I'm getting so antsy for a decision!!

If it makes you feel better, I went to UT for my BSN and they are notoriously late with correspondence just in general. They said we would find out about BSN admissions on February 15th at the latest, and I found out at 4:59pm on February 15th!
