UTHSC Houston - Summer 2016 Applicants

Hey everyone!

I couldn't find a thread for Summer 2016 that was active so I'm starting one here! I am also an applicant for Fall 2016 but I'm applying for both because the deadlines are close and I really want to go here!! :laugh:

So far I'm taking courses over the summer right now and going to finish my prerequisites this fall. I JUST finished the HESI exam today!!! Hope to hear from all of you soon :up:

I read last years thread last night and they started finding out first week of April. On the 7th, I believe..... Agh, I'm starting to get impatient!

Actually I read the first ones who found out about summer admissions were notified at the end of February (2/25 or 2/26). Some who were wait listed previously were admitted a few days before (2/23 or 2/24). So I estimate we are a month out from knowing.

Hi bearfur -

When you had your transcript evaluation fixed by the registrar's office, did they automatically send a new copy or did you have to ask for one? Also - how long was it between the two evaluations?

I did ask for a second one at the time the "fix" occurred, but it was not mailed until much later. I would estimate it was 6 or 7 weeks between the two evaluations.

Did anyone get another transcript evaluation after submitting fall classes? Technically the semester ended after the application deadline so I am curious if I will get another one.

I received my second evaluation in the mail yesterday. One for summer and one for fall.

I also applied to the fall. I received an eval for the summer, but not the fall. I haven't checked my mail today either.

How do you apply for both terms? I think I only applied to summer only. Are you automatically considered for the next term if you don't get in the previous term? I guess it is too late to apply for Fall admission?

i just saw on the Spring 2016 thread that someone just got accepted into the Summer 2016 session...anyone else??

I just found out that I have been accepted into UTHealth's Summer 2016 program! I know that when I have come onto these threads I have wanted to know the stats of others, so I will post them here:

Overall GPA: 3.9

Science GPA: 4.0

HESI: 96 overall

A&P:100

Math:100

Vocabulary:98

Grammar:88

Reading:90

Critical Thinking:820
