UTHSC-Houston Spring 2013

Hi,

I am new to allnurses.com and I wanted to start a topic for the Spring 2013 applicants at UTHSC Houston. Where we can keep each other posted on the process as it nears. I have yet to take the HESI but i wonder if anyone else has taken it and what their score was. I will compile my GPA's later and post them on here.

We found out yesterday at orientation that our class is 173 ppl! Some ppl did not show up to orientation (which was mandatory) so Im assuming those of you who have been waitlisted may be getting calls for those spots pretty soon!!

I"ve been waitlisted as well. Do you know when your classes start? If so do you know the days and times the classes will meet?

We start the 14th of January! Classes are monday-wednesday. Clinicals either Thursday or Friday (10 hr days). And no idea how many ppl showed up.. Just know they were missing some ppl. The auditorium where our class will be seats 173.. So IDK why they don't fill them all up

Hello everyone! I got accepted to Bsn generic spring 2013 program. I went to orientation on Dec 18th. But i still havent enrolled to any of the classes yet. Do u think i will be on the wait list? And if i do does it mean i cannot start the classes on Jan 14? Can anyone clarify it for me plz? Thank you

The wait list is for people who haven't been accepted or denied admission (the SON has notified people whether or not they are waitlisted). Since you were accepted, you wouldn't be on the wait list. When you log onto myUTH, does it say that you have any holds left? Once those are gone and your transcript for fall 2012 (if you took pre-reqs last semester) is in, you should be able to register.
