UTHealth Cizik Summer 2021 - BSN

Hello everyone! 

I've been looking around for a UTH - Pacesetter BSN forum for Summer 2021; haven't found one so I'm going to start one here! This forum is for anyone applying for or just curious about the Summer 2021 application cycle (deadline Jan 15th, 2020). If anyone has any questions, concerns, worries, or anything they'd like to share during the process then you've found the right place! We're here to help each other out. Best of luck! 

For the people who got in, did you guys get an email saying you are missing classes when you have already taken it? I’m hoping it’s just an oversight. I’ll be calling the school tomorrow but I just wanted to see if anyone got the same email?

Nope, This is my 3 or 4th applying and mine still says, "under review". I believe it is safe to say I either got waitlisted again or denied. I have gotten wait listed 2x

If I had to guess, this is it for acceptances. We have already received information about E*Value Webex meetings for this week and so forth. They’re moving things along quickly, and I don’t feel they’d give some the advantage of this information and others not.

Why wouldn’t they send waitlists out by now then? It’s been almost a week and this is the first time something like this has occurred in several cycles.

Do waitlists typically roll out with the acceptances?

They usually come out on the last day of the 3 waves of acceptances.

Maybe instead of doing that this year, they are waiting until everyone either accepts or rejects the admittance offer. That offer expires on Thursday. Once they get in the rejections, they may go ahead and start sending out new admittances. There would still be enough time left over for the second E*Value meeting, too. Just a thought. Either way, I’m sure the stress is very real for a lot of people right now!
