Hi,

 I opened this for those who apply for Sping 2022 at UTHealth Cizik School of Nursing Pacesetter program. 
I plan to take my HESI in May.

Thank you! I think its just protocol maybe since technically the website states Nov 15. I hope there are more waves to come.

do you know if there is any disadvantages when reapplying in terms of lowered chance of getting admitted?

No disadvantage I know of. But on their website they state that they look for those who are improving so if you want to reapply with a better chance I recommend retaking a class for a better grade or retaking the HESI for a better grade. I applied last fall and got denied so I retook one class and the HESI and got better grades and was accepted for this Spring.

Hi. 
 

I applied for this term coming from lone star. My portal still just says “awaiting decision” or whatever. 
 

I don’t have as good of stats as some of you in here. But I think they’re OK. 
those that got accepted - what’s your science GPA and HESI score ?

Overall GPA- 3.91

HESI- 96%

Just checked again and still says “under review” ughhh. At least it isn’t a decline yet. 
 

I applied with 

HESI : 85

A&P section : 84

science GPA : 3.7

overall / pre req GPA : 3.8

 

everyone that got accepted so far has better stats of course. I’m just hopeful I guess since I haven’t been denied yet. 
 

thise that got denied ,  what were your stats ?

third time applying & I got accepted with 96 HESI and overall 3.6-3.7 I retook a class so it is somewhere in that range.
