  1. I don’t remember if it’s on the website but in their seminars they say to aim for an 88 or higher in all sections of the HESI and to have a 3.5 or higher GPA for a better chance at being admitted.
  2. No disadvantage I know of. But on their website they state that they look for those who are improving so if you want to reapply with a better chance I recommend retaking a class for a better grade or retaking the HESI for a better grade. I applied last fall and got denied so I retook one class and the HESI and got better grades and was accepted for this Spring.
  3. I just checked and I got accepted! Check your portals!!
  4. It all just depends on your schedule. You should allow a couple weeks to study and then take the test but also you have to consider the deadline for the HESI and the time it takes to transfer your scores to the school (a couple days). Also sometimes they might not have any tests available past a certain date so you have to take that into consideration too. There really isn’t a recommended time just when you’re free and able to study and as long as you meet the deadline.
  5. I kept that portion empty. You send over your scores so there’s no point in putting that all in.
  6. The webcam records you for the duration of your test but there is no physical person there with you.
  7. Try and see if your school lets you take the HESI through them. I go to Lone Star and they partner with proctorU. I took the test online at home for $70 and I used my own scratch paper.
  8. I believe you don’t need to unless you took another class or retook a class. If your transcript is the same from the last time you applied I do not think you need to resend it.
  9. I believe if you just resubmit a new application you don’t need to send the HESI scores again unless you took it at another institution. Then you would need to resend.
  10. The HESI is not hard it’s basic questions about each subject but you do need to study. The HESI quizlets helped a lot for me.
  11. Hello! I’ve already applied and I’m just waiting to finish a Summer class for pre recs and send in the transcript. The assessment centers didn’t have any available dates so I just took mine through Lonestar and transferred my scores over. This is my second and last time I will be applying ?‍♀️
  12. So on the website it states the minimum is 75-80 on all portions of the required HESI tests but in order to have a strong chance you need an 85 or higher on all portions especially the A&P. I didn’t know this until after I had applied… My stats: math:88 reading:100 grammar:94 A&P:84 vocab:94 overall GPA 3.6 science GPA 3.0 I will be retaking the HESI for a higher A&P score.
  13. Just received my denial too ? Gonna retake the HESI and try again…
