UTH Cizik School of Nursing BSN Pacesetter- Spring 2020

I thought I'd start this feed now. I applied in January. I know I'm early but I'm not much of a procrastinator. I just retook my Hesi and got a 89.2.. I feel I need to take it over but, some people are saying they don't even know UT's selection process. Can anyone enlighten me on that?

College Algebra, Speech, Economics, Abnormal Psychology. I'm very sure there are more, but these were the ones I was asked to choose from when I was confused about the elective.

I wanted to take Medical Terminology course, but I was surprised when the lady said it does not meet their requirements and suggested the ones I listed above.

It’s currently taking human sexuality psyc 2306, do you think that will be considered as an elective? Who exactly do I call?

From what I’ve been told and seen any class you have taken that does not count for their requirements can count as an elective. And they will choose the class with the highest grade.

Hey guys! I'm applying for summer 2020 and I am confused on the test scores portion of the application, what do you put for the HESI ID? Is that the username for your HESI account?

The top of your hesi report has a student ID, that's what you put in

They did say not remedial, PE or nursing classes which doesn't really exclude a lot.

Who can I call to confirm if my elective counts? , is it the registrars office?

Has anyone applying to this program graduated with a bachelors and taken a year or two before applying? I'm curious whether they mostly select students applying straight after completing prereqs.

I was accepted and I completed my Bachelors in Education 2013... I don’t think that has anything to do with it. Good thinking though! Maybe one day someone will figure it out ?.
