UTH Cizik School of Nursing BSN Pacesetter- Spring 2020

I thought I'd start this feed now. I applied in January. I know I'm early but I'm not much of a procrastinator. I just retook my Hesi and got a 89.2.. I feel I need to take it over but, some people are saying they don't even know UT's selection process. Can anyone enlighten me on that?

Congratulations! ? & thank you, that's very good to know. I was getting worried that might be something they use to filter out but I guess as everyone says, there really is no clear answer for what they're looking for lol.

To the people (like me) who have not been accepted or notified of anything yet: I just spoke to a rep of admissions, and they informed me that further acceptance notifications will be coming. They said that we should know our status of admission or denial by November 15. I specifically asked if the people who have been notified are the only ones admitted to the cohort, and they said no. More will be notified of acceptance. Can someone else call to confirm this? Want to make sure I have the 100% correct info.

Then I dialed “3” for applications/admissions related questions. It’s the number on their website.

For anyone still looking forward to hearing back, I’m going to be declining my offer soon since I’m already accepted to another school I’d like to attend. I’m grateful for the offer and hope it creates a seat for someone!

I need to check but I think my overall after pre-reqs that I took this past year was about 3.7, then my teas score was 92.7. I have been out of school for three years and have some work experience in research and inpatient volunteering hours.

for UTH I did pretty well on the HESI and didn’t get in first try but did on second application. I’m not exactly sure what they look for!
