UTA Spring 2021 AO BSN/BSN Cohort

Published

Is anyone else applying this June for the Spring 2021 Cohort, either the AO BSN or the BSN?

I'm currently taking CHEM 1451 and STAT 1308. If I pass these classes all I have left are Path and Pharm. I received a B for Microbiology, so I will be retaking that I think, and most likely CHEM & STAT. I received a C for the HIST 1312 US History since 1865, I took it at UTA, if I retake it at my local community college can I ask to replace the grade? Additionally, does anyone know if an Associate's in Science counts as a previous degree?

Don't forget!

  • Check your vaccinations! Start getting them squared away now! Especially the Hep B titers.
  • If you're from outside the US and have had the BCG vaccine, you will need the T-Spot or QuantiFERON blood test (which you probably already knew).
  • TEAS should be taken no later than 4/1/2020 (per the advisor).

Application deadline is June 1st!

Anyone hear back that there was a problem with their application? I’m fighting for credits from my bachelor degree from Oregon. I had to promise to take classes from Dallas county community but my application still says no plan in app ?

I haven't heard anything from them about my application. I suggest if those classes are not science class or may be if they are easy classes, register them at your local community college so that you don't jopadize your chances of acceptance.

Oh I did. My problem was my application still says no plan in app for those classes. It hasn’t been updated and I’m worried.

Hello, did anyone apply with non science prerequisites remaining? I read few threads but haven’t seen anyone mention this.

Hey! I’ve been talking about this. I have the courses, they just aren’t beings accepted. I am also currently in Patho and I will be taking Pharm starting this month. Do you have a question about some of them? On your application you need to have a plan listed for what you are missing.

They are saying I don't have creative arts credit. I took music appreciation and humanism of art. I have to request a syllabus for each by Tuesday. They emailed me Friday at 2:30. I'll have to sign up for a course if I don't receive the syllabi in time. ?

I think Music Appreciation should be good enough, but if you think getting the syllabi from the school you took it will not be feasible before Tuesday, then it is critical you register the course to avoid been thrown out of the door ?

That’s what I did. I registered for the three classes I need and then sent them a screen shot of the schedule. I am still working behind the scenes to get the credits I already earned back.

Great ? that's is the way to go. I think they bring out stuffs to frustrate or kick people out for no reason. Always looking for excuses ?. We'll all get in by God grace.

Thanks for the info! I'll sign up for a class today just so my application does not get passed on.

If we are accepted, how soon do we need proof of our BLS? I haven’t taken a class yet and didn’t know if I should wait to find out if I’m accepted first.

Hi everyone, I am joining the party. I applied as well for the Spring 2021 group. I'm being haunted by old courses I took in 2005-2007 and got Bs and Cs. I was eligible to apply this round so I did, however I am pretty sure I'll be applying again in Jan for the August 2021 group LOL. The world is crazy right now, so I felt it couldn't hurt to apply. Good Luck everyone, I hope we hear back soon.
