Howdy!

Just curious as to how many are planning on getting into the Spring 2019 ONLINE program.

Am taking TEAS in March/April, Intro to Nursing spring 2018, Pharmacology in summer and Path in Fall. I have all the prerequisites, am not working in health care at the moment.

Hello! I'll also be applying for the spring online at UTA though I'm not sure if I will get in. The advisor I spoke with said usually 8.0 points is great and anyone close to or above gets in; however the past applicant pool for spring 2018 was very competitive and they were dening people with 8.0 points. If anyone doesn't know, you add your nursing pre-req gpa to your science gpa and any consideration are .5 points. So I have 7.8 points,

3.75 science

3.56 nursing

1 consideration

And was told I'm a definite for the on-campus and maybe for the online. It depends on all the other applicants. I'm still applying though!!!

Does anybody know what the latest date is that you can take the TEAS test and still make the June 1st deadline for the spring 2019 program?

I'm assuming May 30th if you take it at UTA. your scores automatically stay there. I'm retaking it on April 30th. I did terrible on the science.

I'm taking it the first time this weekend, and I've been studying my butt off for the science portion. Any advice for any of the sections? Do they allow you to use a basic calculator for math?

For science know all the different systems, body parts, heart and different hormones. Study the basic biology like ribosomes and mitochondria. Know the basic chemistry. For math it was the easiest section for me, and you have a calculator on the computer.

Thanks so much!! I'm taking it today at 11am!

Good luck let me know how it goes!

81.3% overall, considered "advanced" range. I want to schedule an appointment with an advisor at UTA & TWU (second choice school) to see if that score is competitive enough.

That's a really good score! It should be competitive enough. Are you partnered with a hospital?

I'm not partnered, unless they decide to add UT Southwestern to the list. I do have 3 extra considerations though.

That's really good you have considerations. I have none other than I'm partnered.

Hey everyone,

Does anyone have an idea on what TEAS score I would need to really be considered for the spring AO BSN program?

I have a 4.0 GPA and 4.0 science GPA but I have no considerations. I'm scheduled to take my TEAS exam on May 7th and I'm really starting to freak out because so many people have awesome GPAs plus considerations, so I'm concerned that I may not get in.

Anyone know what the odds are of getting in without considerations?
