UTA Nursing Fall 2015 On-Campus or AP Student Discussion Board

Published

Hello All,

This is a thread for open discussion on students applying for the nursing program starting Fall 2015. Feel free to address any concerns or questions you have!

I'm sure we're all in the same boat :)

As of now my current worry is, of course, getting in for the campus-based program.

My overall GPA is 3.67

and my science GPA is 3.75

HESI: Passed

No considerations

Not partnered

I've seen threads showing people got into the Spring semester with these stats but that application period is less busy soooooo...I'm worried.

*Please make sure to mention if you are applying for AP, On-Campus, or both

I just applied to both on-campus and online BSN programs. Crossing my fingers that I will get in.

I also applied for on-campus and online BSN.

No considerations, not partnered.

No healthcare job experience.

Science GPA : 4.00

Overall GPA: 3.94

Goodluck to all of us!

I applied for the off campus Ap BSN program. My stats are 3.98 all and 4.0 science, I also passed my hesi. I am still working on medical terminology but that is not part of the ranking process! Best of luck to all of you.

Any of you are taking patho or pharmacology now?

I am! Taking both online.

Me too! Taking both online. :)

a month and a half to go!

I would say more like 3-4 weeks. :)

Has anyone heard anything yet? :whistling:

I'm partnered, applying to both AP and campus-based. 4.0 science, and 3.738 overall, with good Hesi. Haven't heard a thing yet, either.

Hi everyone! I thought I would go ahead and make an account so I could join these boards. I've been stalking the boards from the previous few application cycles so I could get some insight to acceptance rates and what my chances are.

I'm currently awaiting a letter concerning my application for the TRADITIONAL, ON-CAMPUS BSN program, starting this fall, 2015.

My stats:

Cumulative GPA: 3.54

Science: 3.67

2 considerations (sciences taken at UTA and 30+ prereq hours here too)

Hesi A2: 92%

I'm so nervous! I feel like I'm somewhat competitive but I strongly feel I will be waitlisted, as I've asked around and found that this cycle's application pool is extremely competitive (lots of people I know have 4.0/4.0 GPAs with multiple considerations.)

Good luck to all of us! I have a hunch we'll be getting our letters by the end of this week! :D
