Hey all, I thought I would set up a place to discuss the next application period for UTA's Fall 2012 nursing program. There was so much info in the Spring 2012 forum, thought it might be helpful to start a new thread...
Post away!
Congrats Shenfield37!
I'm wondering if you have received your acceptance/orientation email yet. I was called Wed and they said it would be Thurs or Friday. I haven't received it yet, how about you? I know it sounds silly, but I really want to see the acceptance in writing. ;-)
What hospital did they partner you with?
Me too Megreen! I am going back and forth with either going ahead and starting the ADN program I was accepted to or hold out for Spring AP BSN program at UTA or on campus for Spring...of course this is if I don't get called from the waitlist. I am employed at Parkland now and I think my chances of getting in to the AP program for Spring are a lot better than they were this go around. I also don't want to miss out on starting school somewhere though....what do you guys think?

I'm in the same situation too. I were you I would go ahead and start the adn program and reapply uta program. You may lose some money for the adn program if you got into uta in the spring but at least you won't live in anxiety and waiting anymore!

I have been called off the waitlist. I missed my call so I got an email to call in because my voicemail was full. I think there is a excel spreadsheet that was created for everyone's stats. My science GPA was 3.5 for the required sciences and my overall pre-requisite GPA around 3.7 or so. I took some classes online at UT-Arlington and I do have a previous degree.
