Hey all, I thought I would set up a place to discuss the next application period for UTA's Fall 2012 nursing program. There was so much info in the Spring 2012 forum, thought it might be helpful to start a new thread...

I called this afternoon and got through. The woman said that Clara, the head of the advisors, told her to tell applicants the emails will be sent out end of april/beginning of may. Sounds like an automated response to me but may not be today. I was soo excited too. :(

*Sigh* I hope they're just saying that to give room for technical difficulties/errors... because why would Mrs. Ashwill tell us that they would be sent out this week... Maybe there's still a tiny bit of hope that they will come today or tomorrow.. haha (thinking positive!)

Just got my response, I didn't get in. I am so bummed. I had a 4.0 overall and a 4.0 science too. I guess being partnered does really matter after all.

Check your email everyone. I applied for both traditional and accelerated. I had little hope for accelerated as I'm not partnered and don't have a prior degree. I just received the email stating I did not get in to AP. Still nothing on traditional program though. Good luck!!

They may send out rejections, ugh don't like that word at all, first. It may be the way the system works. I'm hoping the traditional emails come out today too. Strange that they would send one and not the other.
