Anyone here apply to UTA for fall 2009? Do you know when we should be hearing anything?
The suspense is killing me.
Also, I received a flyer about the new fast track program starting
this fall! How exciting! Its brand new and more info should be available in april?
yeah, i know exactly where you are coming from. quick question, and i emailed an advisor about it but when i was looking on their website: http://www.twu.edu/nursing/bs_admission.asp
and i read this:
"admission to upper division nursing courses is based on consideration of multiple criteria. these criteria include the following: gpa for prerequisite coursework; admission assesssment test scores; grades received on first attempt for anatomy and physiology i and ii, microbiology, and statistics. consideration will be given to students who have completed 32 or more semester credit hours of the required non-nursing lower division courses at twu"
i didn't know if this was something new and how it is affected if i retake courses? i'll keep you posted....
o my. Yes that is very very new. It doesn't affect me, but I know it is going to make a lot of people mad. TWU is really starting to get on my nerves about how they think they are better and beyond most schools. Their lack of communication with me last admissions cycle really did a number on me.
TWU, if you notice at the bottom of their page, updates the nursing stuff almost daily. Which means they can easily tweak and change stuff without us hardly noticing considering that their webpage is long and wordy. I feel bad for people who took the time to re-take things and now it won't even count!!!!
hi everyone,
I was wondering for those who were accepted into the program, did u complete the 3 required pre- nursing courses (Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, & Intro. to Nursing) before starting the first official semester of the Nursing Program at UTA? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
