Hey everyone,

Just wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying this May for the Spring 2014 entry into the AP BSN program. I have been working on my prerequisites for the last year and still have about 5 classes left to take. I will also be taking my HESI in May. I am so excited to get the nursing program started, but really nervous as well! I will have to work full time during the program and hope that it will work out. I am currently partnered with Cook Children's. Anyone else out there fixing to apply for Spring 2014 entry?

I got in to both programs!! So excited! Congrats to everyone else who got in and for those who didn't or are still waiting don't give up hope!

Hi everybody. I just registered here, but I've been a board stalker for a couple of weeks now. I got my email and am on the wait list. I've gone through last year's board and haven't been able to find an answer to my question, and my advisor was no help either. I wanted to know what the procedure is for accepting applicants from the wait list? If a spot opens up, are we notified immediately, or do they wait until a designated time to inform multiple wait listers that they were accepted? Could I be called at anytime someone declines the AP program? or do they compile another list and wait to send out mass emails again to the wait listed applicants who got in? I see someone got accepted to both programs. When they make their decision to go to one program and decline the other, will UTA call the next person on the waiting list soon after or do they torture us until right before orientation? Sorry for the panic questions, I just don't have the patience to wait till Christmas to find out if I get called off the wait list. It makes it hard to make any sort of plans.

After being wait listed once and denied twice. I'm finally in!!!! Who else will be joining me for the on campus program.

Hi, my understanding from this board and from the informational meeting they offer for waitlisted folks is that they call immediately when a spot opens up. This is why they ask you to give them the best phone number.
