UTA AP BSN Spring 2014

Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

Published

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying this May for the Spring 2014 entry into the AP BSN program. I have been working on my prerequisites for the last year and still have about 5 classes left to take. I will also be taking my HESI in May. I am so excited to get the nursing program started, but really nervous as well! I will have to work full time during the program and hope that it will work out. I am currently partnered with Cook Children's. Anyone else out there fixing to apply for Spring 2014 entry?

Hi everyone! I applied for the fall 2013 and got wait listed! They called me in May I believe to offer me a spot for the fall but I did not have pharm completed. So I have applied for the spring 2014 and I am taking pharm now... Hopefully I can complete pharm with an A. Are they notifying us in October? I have been wondering when they would let us know if we got in or not, thought we would know by now.

Yes mid October..we should know!!!!

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Baespree2, what were your stats for fall 2013?

I applied to both the AP and traditional programs. I am most interested in the traditional on-campus program. My stats are 4.0 science with the science consideration, and 3.9 overall. I'm currently taking pharm and patho. I am getting sooo nervous about October! Do any of you know how many people applied for spring 2014? I heard last semester over a thousand people applied o.O

Thanks for starting this thread...

I too applied for Spring 2014 (AP and On Campus). I am very nervous now that October is quickly approaching! I'm not sure what to expect...

Also, I am taking Patho and Pharm now & everything is going great so far!

I am done with prerequisites. I am taking patho and pharm now and would appreciate and help with Patho

frank I am good in Pharm but not patho so maybe we could help each other?

In Patho you really need to concentrate on RRDs after the second test I didn't even open the book. I passed the class with an A.

Hey guys I talked to my advisor today and emails are going out this week!!!!

Hi! I'm new to this site, and I'm glad I found this forum. Like everyone else, I am also nervously waiting. Good luck to all of us!

I agree, I didn't open the textbook. Read and review the RRDs and listen to the lectures.

Spring acceptance letters for APBSN are in, I'm not in, again :(
