UT Tyler Fall 2014

Hello everyone! I wanted to make a thread for those applying to UT Tyler's nursing program for the fall of 2014. If you have any insight on what is competitive, or any thoughts you would like to share.. please post! I'd like to hear from others applying! Thanks :)

When I talked to the adviser last week she told me that about 350 people applied and they accepted 140.

Oh wow!!! That's intimidating! 350 ! Did your advisor say they have already accepted 140?!?? I was told only 90 make it. But the advisor that told me that no longer works for the university. I received an email stating that she no longer works there (tyler). Maybe they increased the number this semester due to the abundance of applicants.

Tyler as #1 and longville as # 2 but I will be happy with whichever campus. I'm still a little confuse on the point scale system

Yeah she told me last Wednesday that they were accepting 140 this time. They already know who is getting in also but they weren't sending the emails out till sometime this week.

Im so sorry kenzilu2006. Dont give up and be persistant. That's what I'm telling myself too. Did anyone else get an email? I haven't received one yet!

I called today and spoke to an advisor and she said she is literally sending out the emails at the very moment
