UT Tyler Fall 2014

Hello everyone! I wanted to make a thread for those applying to UT Tyler's nursing program for the fall of 2014. If you have any insight on what is competitive, or any thoughts you would like to share.. please post! I'd like to hear from others applying! Thanks :)

Has anyone received a letter from Tyler saying they've been accepted? I've looked everywhere in my e-mail and haven't received one yet :( hopefully soon though! it's making me nervous that some people have gotten letters and some haven't...

I haven't received anything :( where did u guys get it at? Personal or school email?

It's called Polaris Office 4.0. This is just a suggestion but do you have a friend or someone you can email it to and let them open it? I'm only suggesting it because I emailed the advisor as well and it took over 24 hours for her to respond and I would hate for you to have to wait that long. Hopefully yours has good news. Also did your file have a name before you tried to open it? Mine was called class full and that's basically what the email said is that they accepted their maximum number of students.

@ teddy bear it came to my personal email. They send it to the one you put on your application.

Mine says Class Full!! Thats why I was assuming it was the same as yours. Guess I didnt get in :( I still wanted to read it though. I even tried to bring it up on my laptop and it says the file is corrupt? I applied to the Palestine campus also so is this email for both campuses? Because I never got anything from palestine.

@chennaultc091 Oh ok, I'm sorry :( I'm not absolutely positive but I know Palestine sent out their acceptance letters last thursday. Longview is the only one who has not sent out anything yet. But hey don't give up regardless! I'm applying next semester again so you should too!

yes it was an rtf file in pdf format and it was personal email

Basically what it says is" We regret to inform you that the College of Nursing has admitted its full complement for the Fall 2014 semester. "

For people that are still waiting, the email is from Tammie Cooper. It won't say anything about UT Tyler, just her name and the subject is college of nursing. Hopefully that helps maybe...

I still have not yet receive any thing from them and Tammie Cooper said she was sending them out as of today
