Hello everyone! I wanted to make a thread for those applying to UT Tyler's nursing program for the fall of 2014. If you have any insight on what is competitive, or any thoughts you would like to share.. please post! I'd like to hear from others applying! Thanks :)

I really feel like a big dummy for not checking my Patriot email last night. I had worked myself up into a frenzy and didn't even think about it. It said they would send it to the email you had on your application, so that's the one I kept checking! Haha.

Yes I did check my patriot email. I have called and emailed multiple times and no answer it's very frustrating!!! I can't read my letter from tyler because it in like Chinese and when I call Palestine to ask about that letter they say to call tyler!! To bad it goes to voicemail and they haven't returned my calls

Well the wait continues for me I guess. I checked both emails and I got nothing. I called the nursing dept but I keep getting a voice recording so I just left a message. Hopefully they will get back to me. Congrats on everyone who got accepted!!! :)

I got an email sent to my personal account from tammi Cooper that had an attachment labeled class full. I couldn't open it to view it but this was after I got my acceptance letter from Mrs Finley at Ut Palestine. Kinda weird...my advisor told my they took 30 for the Palestine campus this semester which she acted like was more than normal but not for sure. Try calling Susan Harris at palestinethat's who I called the day they sent the letters out and she was very helpful throughout the whole application process.

Thanks @rednurse55 I'll call her and see if she knows why I didn't receive an email!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't open the attachment from tyler!! If I could open it it might say it was a denial from both Palestine and Tyler but since I can't get Tyler to call me back or email me back a new one I'll just try to talk to her.

it doesnt say denied, it will say applicants for the nursing program is full. Weird now they word the denied letter. So rednurse55 did you apply to palestine as your 2nd choice? Tammy cooper did tell me that palestine would be pulling couple people from tyler. I am wondering if longview will do the same

I was accepted everyone!!! It turns out my email had a typo!!! I had to call them and ask what happened! Yay!!! I'm so happy this is the happiest day of my life!!!
