UT Tyler BSN Fall 2020

Hi everyone! I’m applying for the BSN program at UT Tyler for Fall 2020. I have seen only a few posts about this school and wanted to see if anyone was applying and what your stats were. Good luck!

I was told the castlebranch info just rolls over into Fall! So I did it all

Hello Everyone,

I am so worried. This waiting time is killing me.

I have 3.75-3.8 prereq GPA, 4 Nursing GPA , 79.3 IN TEAS. Is this scores competitive enough? I am transfer student and I do not have any health experience.

Hey Sabna,

As for UT Tyler, you don't need health experience or it will count towards your application. Your TEAS is about a 15 points. If you have taken Patho, that is another 10 points.

So in all, your GPA is about a 3.75-3.8= 22-23 points. I am assuming you did well on your Nursing GPA too, so that is a 26

So 26+22+10=58

58+(15)= 73. If you do everything perfect on the video, that is another 18 points.

Total= 91. You most likely will get in if you have patho.

This is just a rough estimate

Hopefully, we all get in.

Yes I took Patho in Spring at TWU.
How is your Stat? This waiting time is killing me?

I can’t remember exactly but I was still in process of taking classes so I didn’t get points for them so I think I was in the 60s but im now finished with all my courses and with full points for the video hopefully I will have an 80 and IDK if you get more points if you’ve applied there before because I know they ask you that in the application!
