UT Tyler BSN Fall 2020

Published

Hi everyone! I’m applying for the BSN program at UT Tyler for Fall 2020. I have seen only a few posts about this school and wanted to see if anyone was applying and what your stats were. Good luck!

It comes to your uttyler email from your advisor!

Thank you! I have been checking both because I was unsure. I am really hoping we hear back soon. I applied to Palestine. What about you?

Are they waiting until after the 2nd Patho exams are given to factor in the current standing grade. That’s typically what they do, have they had the 2nd exam?

Our second exam isn’t until next week on the 16th.

OK, if they do acceptances like previous term, it may be after that 2nd exam and you have to have an average of 75 or higher to be considered for acceptance. I was accepted for Summer but deferred to fall.

Are there a lot of people that were accepted to Summer but deferred to the fall?

Our second patho exam is on the 16th.

I’m going to Longview, I believe there were 6 last I knew.

This is the week! Good luck everyone

Has anyone else been having trouble getting their fingerprint schedule done on castle branch ?

We don't complete that until we find out if we got in, I believe

If anyone else happens to have piercings, do y'all know how strict they are about it, as far as knowing people's experiences who have been through the program? I saw in the handbook that they only allow one ear piercing per ear, and I just got a cartilage piercing a little while ago and have had a nose piercing forever and I don't want them to close up and go through the hassle of re-piercing LOL. If I used a clear barely there piercing, would that be acceptable as well?
