UT Tyler BSN Fall 2020

Hi everyone! I’m applying for the BSN program at UT Tyler for Fall 2020. I have seen only a few posts about this school and wanted to see if anyone was applying and what your stats were. Good luck!

Wait, so for those of you who paid for the Summer one for Castlebranch, how can we switch to Fall??? I accidentally paid for the Summer as well ?

I know 120 students get in but are there any waitlists?

My GPA is 3.2 and my nursing GPA is 3.5 and my TEAS is a 71.

Also, I am working hard on the video to aim for a, realistically speaking, 16 points

What are my chances of getting in?

Any stories of anyone getting with my stats?

I don't know what my friends' stats are but her overall score on their score sheet was 63 and she got into the Summer program!

Oh WOW! that honestly makes me feel better. I just hope the pool for this semester isn’t crazy competitive. And that’s without the video factored in right?

I am so curious what the range of points that normally take, does anyone know? I have up to 89 assuming all points for video. But who knows

I think you'll be fine. I feel like 80-100 is like the safe zone unless Fall is crazy competitive. I think Spring and Summer are both less competitive but Fall to be the most competitive out of all cycles. For me, I am going to be depending on the pool of this application cycle

Do we get the news if we are accepted or not in 4-6 weeks AFTER the application deadline? Or after we submit our application... I submitted it almost as soon as it opened so I’ve been waiting forever already it seems? also do we get an email or an actual letter in the mail?

I'm so down for the group me!

It's after the application deadline ? And I'm sure it will be an email
