what is everyone's plans if they don't get an offer from UTSW. Did anyone get offers from other hospitals?

I got to the last round of interviews for several places and got denied. I'm feeling really defeated and not sure what I'm going to do now.

I interviewed last cohort and didn't get an offer unfortunately. I did receive an offer from another hospital this cohort but UTSW is my top choice

I applied for L&D and mom&baby and haven't heard back from either for an interview. I haven't heard of anyone else hearing back from them either. I also signed up for the acute medical and got an interview for that. I heard you either get an interview from a specialty track or the acute care tack not both. This has me wondering if they are not taking anyone for L&D this cycle and that's why I got the acute care interview maybe.

a manager from UTSW told me that they rank applicants based on a point system which includes GPA so if u don't have a 3.5 or higher you basically get weeded out and don't get offered an interview.

I think you are right, and the people who got specialty units had ICU or their preferred unit for their capstone possibly?

yeah they were either techs in those units or had some kind of connection like capstone
