UT Southwestern Nurse Residency Summer 2022

Published

I'm starting this thread for anybody who applied to UT Southwestern's Summer 2022 Nurse Residency. Hoping we can keep each other updated. I selected critical care as my #1 choice and Labor & Delivery as my #2. Hoping we can keep each other updated. Good luck everybody!

Hi! I applied too! My top choice is the OR. Haven’t heard anything about interviews yet. Good luck to you too!

Nice! Hopefully we will hear from them soon. They seem to be the last hospital in Dallas to do interviews.

I selected critical care as my #1 choice and PCU as my #2. I have PCT experience but IDK how much that will help.

I’m sure that would help, especially if you worked on units you are interested in.

I just got an email for an interview but it is for PCU, does that mean I'm not being considered for critical care? 😕

I received an email to schedule interviews for Critical Care and the ambulatory clinics which is weird because I never applied to the ambulatory clinics. My first choice was ICU then ED.

Has anyone been scheduled for OR yet? I’ve been scheduled for an interview for ambulatory but not OR. Getting antsy LOL.

I also got an email about interviewing for the ambulatory clinic RN residency, but I had applied to that separate application. I haven't heard/ gotten an email about interviewing for the two UTSW hospital units I put as my preference. Good luck y'all!

Hello! A recruiter reached out to me on Saturday to select my 3 dates of preference for an interview and just heard back from him today with my finalized interview date

Hey! I put ICU as my #1 and PCU as my #2 and got an interview scheduled with the PCU as of yesterday. Never heard about ICU…
