Not to break the excitement, but everyone will have the same information on UT LINK.
But to give a little excitement, I just heard they have picked the 2006 entering class, so I hope you guys hear something soon. :balloons:

really? man I really hope they somehow send them earlier than scheduled! Ok, this is gonna sound obsessive too, but when you got your acceptance letter was it a normal envelope or one of those huge ones? lol

Once again, thanks for the info goddesssue. I guess we just sit tight until April 15th.
Have a good weekend.

The acceptance packet will be bigger, but do not give up hope if you don't get in at first. I did not and then received a call one month later and was offered a spot.

Mine doesn't say that.
But, I am happy for you. I bet if someone tied a string to your ankle, you'd float! :balloons: :balloons:

Congratulations to all of you that have found out so far!! That is wonderful:balloons:
If you dont mind my asking, what are your GPA's? I'm almost fed up with applying at the community colleges and not getting in unless your a 4.0 basically.. I have a 3.5.. would I have a chance in the BSN at UT? any advise, is much much appreciated!!

Well, so far, I haven't gotten an acceptance letter, but no turn downs either. I applied to UT-Houston and UTMB. While others are starting to receive letters - I am not....so who knows....but this is my standing with UT.
Nursing Prereqs 3.8570
Science Prereqs 3.5000
Undergrad GPA 3.7040
Good luck to you.

CONGRATULATIONS! that's just too cool! if you click on "holds" you'll see something else to make your day: in addition to cpr and immunizations hold, you now have an admission documents hold! WOOHOO!!! :balloons: i'm going to try not to get too excited until i have something to pin up on my fridge, but it still made my day!
have you spoken to anyone at ut-h yet? they are VERY helpful and honest about your chances. i went in and talked to them and i felt much better and MUCH more informed when i left. as far as gpa goes, my understanding is that some years are easier to get in than others. if they have 1000 applicants and 90% of them have 3.9 gpa, then it's going to be very competitive to get in. but, i would think it's just as likely that some years they have an applicant pool with a slightly lower gpa. it's always going to be competitve to some degree, but you have a very competitive gpa, so i don't think you have too much to worry about. hang in there, and good luck!
Good job guys. I wish I knew "where I went wrong"; but, hey......with so few seats - they can only choose the best! You should feel very proud of yourselves.
