Anyone receive a letter for interviews yet? I hope we all get one!

it's much to soon to throw in the towel! you have a great gpa. maybe that they update the site at intervals? it says it takes 24 hours to update...

even if you do get a "bad letter", you can always contest it. i've heard that if you write a letter to the admissions board and plainly (or passionately!) state your case, you still have a chance even if you've been passed over. there's always light at the end of the tunnel! :flowersfo

kim: try to stay positive; there's still plenty of time left for you to receive a letter of acceptance.

on a side note: my UT-Houston page still states "pending" too, but UTMB accepted me weeks ago.

but i'm not going to lose hope just yet...i will if it doesn't change by the end of this week though lol

If I don't get in....well....I guess there's next year? Man, it sucks just thinking about that!

I will contact UT-Houston.. IM glad to hear they are a little better at answering questions.. I feel I have been going in a vicious circle with these other schools.

Aussie dont give up hope yet! Like Josh said, it is way early still and there is no telling what order they are goin through and updating records...I think ur in.

CONGRATULATIONS! that's just too cool! if you click on "holds" you'll see something else to make your day: in addition to cpr and immunizations hold, you now have an admission documents hold! WOOHOO!!!:lol2: :balloons: i'm going to try not to get too excited until i have something to pin up on my fridge, but it still made my day!

Yup! It does say that under holds...Did u get admitted too? If so congrats to you too! :) Do you think we should send in our HepB adn TB shot records if we have them? ...I was puttin off takin the CPR class till I knew for sure so I guess I should schedule that now.

The Fort Bend Co EMS have classes periodically at the Bud O'Shieles Center in Rosenberg for county employees and I work for the FBC Sheriff's Dept so it works out well.

no "snail mail" yet...I guess they are stickin to their guns about sending those out on the 15th.
