UT Houston Generic BSN applicants Fall 2010

I was hoping to start a thread for fall 2010 UTHSC. Where we can be positive and share info without going into exact detail of interviews. Like have you got your acceptance letter, packet, etc?

I called and asked when the last day they will be sending out interview letters is. She told me that it will be March 15.

I received an interview email today so if you haven't been invited for an interview yet, start checking your email. I'm feeling very relieved and excited.

Thanks. I don't think this is the last date because I was told over the phone that they would be sending out letters until March 15. It's possible that they are trying to finish earlier since they are emailing invitations instead of mailing them. My interview is at 7:45 AM, were any of the other interviews that early? I'll ask at the interview.

Hey everyone! I JUST found out this past week that I have an interview on March 4th! I called to ask what mailing address they had because I hadn't gotten anything! They just told me over the phone that I had an interview, and then I received a more official email...I didn't even realize that people have already been interviewing over the past couple of months. I applied to 5 schools and I'm about to graduate from A&M so it's been kinda hard to juggle everything. I've just been concerned with making all of the deadlines and taking all of the admissions tests! I took 4 different tests!

Anyways, does anyone have any tips? Do they ask you about your resume? How many copies should I bring? Also, where did you park?? I don't have a suit...so is a black pencil skirt, blouse, and some kind of jacket ok?

@Veganmom I was under the impression that most of them had started at 11.

@bll356 I brought 2 resumes just in case something happened to one, I would have a back up.They only need one. They didn't ask me anything about my resume but some have said they were asked about it so I guess it depends who you get.I parked in the St. Luke's parking lot it's right across the street. I think a black pencil skirt and blouse are fine.

For those of you who are still nervous...well, I still am; but the odds might be better than what most of you think. Please don't quote me on this; but from what I heard, some of the interviewees were also being considered for the accelerated program starting in the summer. So...out of 250, I'd say our chances are somewhat higher than posted on this thread. But----------we're not out of the water yet...still waiting for April 1st.
