UT Houston Fall 2019 PMHNP

Has anyone been given admission into the PMHNP program at University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston? I am starting this thread so that we can share information.

My application still says "under review". Have you heard anything back yet?

I applied for the new BSN-DNP PMHNP track.

I applied for the bsn to msn pmhnp and I already got my acceptance email. I never knew there is a bsn to dnp pmhnp concentration at university of texas houston. Is your application for fall 2019 admission? I am interested in learning more about the bsn to dnp pmhnp track.

It's a brand new track. On their website it still says "coming soon", yet their application open.

Can I ask about your RN experience? I have close to 2 years in the ICU and almost 6 months of psychiatric RN exp. Did you have over a year of psych RN exp when you applied? I know this is one of their requirements.

I had 2 years experience as a psych nurse when I applied.

I reached out to the DNP director yesterday and she responded that interviews will be conducted for the DNP program in 2 to 3 weeks time. Hopefully, you should be getting an email inviting you to interview soon.
