Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
I'm so worried about my acceptance that it's freaking me out
Due to this I'm preparing myself for the worse case scenario that I don't get into the Summer 2019 semester. So Fall semester it is! The only problem is that my HESI score isn't competitive enough (86) for this sem. I have less than two weeks to retake my HESI. Is this possible? Will my scores still send even if I take it one day before the deadline? I'm disappointed that i'm not more prepared but I really want to ensure I get into UTH ?
Also, for info about my application (this is from the top of my head)
HESI: 86
Science gpa: 3.8 or 3.9
cumulative gpa: 3.7 or 3.8
The only advantages I have is that I worked as Biology tutor while taking my prerequisites. Also, I was in the honors program and took some prereqs as honors. I honestly hope this is enough to get me in my HESI score terrifies me
Your stats are still competitive! Personally, I would retake it ONLY if I felt like I could do significantly better on it. If you are gonna retake it, the hesi a2 app is great, so definitely check it out if you haven’t!
Spring's notifications went out on a Monday, so I am hopeful. But at this point I find it no longer reliable to compare past cycles lol. As long as it comes before the Fall deadline on the 15th.

4:36pm lol. But I do remember seeing on another thread for a different year that they went out around 10:30 in the morning. So I'll be checking all day lol
