UT Health Pacesetter Summer 2019

Published

Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!

I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.

Stats:

HESI Overall: 92.4

Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88

Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0

Cumulative GPA: 3.41

My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!

I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).

  1. Check allnurses to see if anyone has been accepted.
  2. Check UTH to see if I've been accepted
  3. Check email to see if I missed something on the previous two sites
  4. Wait 30 minutes
  5. Repeat until notification of acceptance or denial

Yep that’s about how it goes!!!

Best of luck everyone ? I’m done with lab for the day so I’ll be checking up here in between studying!!

Fingers crossed that today’s the day!!

This couldn’t be more ACCURATE!!

I have a freaking Statistics test today so I won’t be on from 2-5ish, but maybe that’s for the best lol

This waiting game is so intense! GL everyone!

It does that sometimes but all you have to do is contact the help desk and they fix it in less than five minutes without you having to change your password. The help desk link is under the login stuff where we login in to see our application ?

Never received a transcript even though my courses were completed. This is my third time applying. I was waitlisted the last two times for Summer 18 and Spring 2019. Praying third time's a charm. Currently studying to take TEAS as a back up to apply to other programs!

Im with you. If I don't get into this program this summer or for the fall, I'm going to start studying for the TEAS. Maybe U of H sugarland or TWU would accept me into their program. Good luck.

Same here! I've heard it is more comprehensive than the HESI but still doable. My HESI score and pre-req gpa are competitive but my overall GPA (3.4) is the biggest thing holding me back especially when it comes to UTH.

I really hope we hear before 5, all the office numbers are going straight to voicemail so I’m not sure if that’s a good sign or not?

I've heard the Teas is tougher than the Hesi. I scored 94 overall on the Hesi and my gpa is a 3.7 but Im still super nervous since no one really knows what they look at. The stress of getting accepted is crazy. I think U of H program is a one year program...do you know?
