Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).

Yes it is a 1 year program but it's only available to those who have a previous Bachelor's degree.

I feel like we are all on Crimina Minds or Law & Order and looking for every possible clue. Just shows dedication! I realllllllly hope this means they are getting things together to send out notifications today, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high and just be sad if it is not today! Praying for good news

Your scores are super competitive. I don't think you should worry about getting in for the summer. From what I've been told and have seen, they're going to pay close attention to repeated classes and how many courses you take per semester. HESI scores are important but I know of people that had less than 90's in each section (80-88) and had a high overall gpa/pre-req/science and still got in. I felt the same way the first time I applied but don't let your nerves get to you! I made myself so sick constantly checking emails and allnurses.

Do you mind sharing what books you used to study? I have both the ATI manual and Mometrix. I'm not sure if I should get another one or if i'm just freaking myself out ?

I've taken both, and I definitely think the TEAS was harder. Somehow I still made a 91.3 on the TEAS and 91.6 on the HESI, but the science on the TEAS is harder because it's not just anatomy, it's bio, chem, and all that too.
