Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
I’m honestly not sure why they’re taking so dang long to get back to you guys ? I agree it’s pretty cruel, especially for those looking to reapply. I’m really sorry you guys haven’t heard anything yet, holding out hope for tomorrow?
Lmao I just got back from work and was going through all the comments and you guys crack me up. Im happy to see that everyone is still in such great spirits and keeping the thread light and funny!! Which I know help me with stress. I don’t think I’ll stay off Allnurses again because I feel like I miss out on all the fun lol. I agree Idk what day to hope for anymore. I can only hope we hear something soon Becuz I’ve been pretty much feeling sick all day lol.
Hi, everyone! I was denied for Spring 2019, and I haven't been active in this forum whatsoever. I think the waiting is starting to get to me now. I know we all want to get into such a great program, but please don't let one school define whether you are good enough or not. Whether we get in or not, don't give up on nursing because you didn't get into your dream school. I just wanted to share that because I saw someone mention they may give up and try again later. Stay persistent and remember what's meant to be will be. I hope we all hear good news soon ?. Also, sending positive vibes to everyone because I am sure we all need it at this point.

Does anyone know if you do reapply if you have to sent new transcripts and HESI scores? I'm trying not to think negatively but since we're so close to the Fall deadline I'm trying to plan for possibly reapplying.

You don't have to re-send them. They will already have them on file.
