Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).

Same here! I feel like I'm addicted to this website because I'm looking for updates lol.

Thanks for all your words of encouragement. I was also wait listed and denied already so my hopes aren't as high as they were last semester. I'll take your advise and do my best not to worry!
That’s perfectly fine! Do what’s going to save your heart in the end if things don’t work out, but of course I wish you the best of luck either way!!
We’ll all get there eventually, no matter what path we take- as long as you remain passionate about the field you’re doing it right! ?
If you ever feel like you’re in a rut (this goes for everyone!!), don’t be afraid to reach out. I’ll be there for you whether I know you or not?

Lol I’ve got one! It depends on your clinical location but you can wear a stud if they’re alright with it, just not the hoop. At school though they don’t care. I’ve had mine in since day one and one of my tattoos has shown once or twice but they don’t care st school (just remember that what you wear and do is a direct reflection of the school!) as long as we remain professional at clinicals!
OMG I got an email from the school only to realize it was a darn campus tour invite thing lol. My heart like pounded in my chest for that one second before I realized what it was. Not to mention they wouldn’t send notifications out this late lol. Geez I almost died and would have never made it to nursing school lol
