I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
Thank you! My overall undergrad GPA was 3.4, but I took two other classes for pre-reqs to apply so it's probably a little different now. When I calculated my science GPA is was around 3.8. I never did receive a transcript evaluation, so I'm not really sure of my GPA, and I didn't really want to calculate it because I feel like I would drive myself insane with comparing scores when mine aren't anything spectacular lol.
HESI Overall was 89.6 Reading 90 Grammer 86 Vocab 88 Anatomy 88 Math 96

Any day this week now! The notification went out on a Thursday in 2017, so maybe it’ll be a day earlier than we assume ?? But probably will be Friday... just hoping they won’t make us wait til next week!

Yea I honestly believe it can be any day now except maybe Wednesday because I have never seen results go out on a Wednesday but in 2017 they started getting acceptances on the 23rd of February so literally it could be today or tomorrow. But like you I am hoping that Friday will be the latest.
Hey guys decided to post since we are super close to hearing acceptances. I have a 3.9 GPA and made an 86 on my HESI. I applied for the spring and was denied and I had a 92 on my HESI for that application, decided to retake my HESI and ended up doing worse on it. I also applied to UTMB for the fall. The anticipation is killing me so much for y’all!!! I remember being in y’all’s shoes and I DONT miss it at all. I DO miss that feeling of relief after I got accepted though!!!

Do y’all know what days of the weeek other cohorts found out? Is it normally a Friday? Or does it vary? I would be (pleasantly) surprised if it’s before Friday this year.

The last cohort found out on a Monday so a part of me was hoping to hear back today..but I think there has also been acceptance emails sent out on a Thursday and Friday.
Lmao I have a love hate relationship with it. My stats aren’t spectacular so im kinda hoping it works in my favor but at the same time I wish I knew for sure so I can be taken out of my miseryyyyyyyyy
