Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
It probably won’t be today. Last summer they heard back on Friday and last fall they heard back on Thursday. But I understand the constant checking, I’ve been doing the same! But we will definitely hear by the end of this week I know it!

Anddd i need self- control to stop checking allnurses every few minutes!
Not to be a pessimist, but I wouldn't hold my breath and get too worked up, I don't think it will be until this Friday. The earliest someone mentioned was Thursday for the Summer 2017 thread. Looking at last summers thread, I saw people announcing their acceptances friday March 2 through Monday March 5. I'm not sure if that's because emails came out in waves or if people just weren't checking their emails.
Either way DON'T lose hope until you get YOUR answer! Just because someone announces their acceptance and you haven't gotten an email yet doesn't always mean what you think. Honestly, I probably won't get on AllNurses on Friday-Monday just to allow myself time to either celebrate with my family or just mentally prepare for what my next steps will be. Try not to get too consumed, what's meant to be will be!
I scoured previous threads as well, and I'm betting on this Friday in the evening (i.e. March 1st around 5PM). We've made it this far. Stay calm and good luck everyone!
Haha I'm with you guys! I can't keep myself from checking the thread in the afternoon and at night lol I am doing anything possible to keep my mind off! The gym and work are the only things keeping me from losing all sanity!

Thank you so much!! I know we are all super anxious to find out but you are right whether we get in or not we have all worked really hard to get to this point. I have also thought Monday is a possibility but I’m hoping for the latest day to be Friday. But we will seeeeee.

@RnDestinyy I sure didn’t lol. I kept checking in the mail for it and still am but i feel like it’s kinda pointless now since we’re literally a few days from a possible decision. I think it would still be nice to have just in case. How about you did you ever receive yours?
@Map09 same here, I never got mine either. I completely gave up worrying about it. I called them and asked if they updated my profile to reflect the changes they made and they told me it was updated so now we wait lol.
@RnDestinyy Yea I had called To confirm the changes were made and the person I spoke with said that if Mrs. Mendoza has done it then I was good but I wish they would have looked in the system and confirmed it was done. At this point I think it’s too late to ask for that kind of clarification. I just hope it was fixed because without it i have zero chance lol.
