Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).

Hiii Candy I was just about to post about this same thing!!! My post office does the same and I have been stalking those emails ? and I saw I just got Something in the mail from them also. I’m so happy to get the transcript evaluation to get my questions answered concerning my classes

Thank you so much!!
I’m actually at a pathophysiology tutoring right now for our test this Wednesday! Classes overall are going REALLY well and I’m always super excited to go to them. :) Nursing school and some incredible friends have a way of doing that to ya!!!

YES! So being waitlisted essentially means that you’re *possibly* good enough but they’re still deciding if they want you or not. So being waitlisted for one makes you much more likely to be accepted for the following term. This is true except with the case of being waitlisted for Summer. Summer is “easier” to get into and Fall is “harder” to be accepted for. Every other situation though, yes. ?
Howdy! I am kinda late to this thread and too lazy to read through all 20 pages. I applied to the Summer 2019 Pacesetter program as well.
Overall GPA: 3.83
Science GPA (not sure if this is accurate because I don't know what courses UT Health considers in this): 3.93
HESI Score: 96.4
My question is, when do you think we will hear back? I remember in the webinar they said late Februrary but online it says early April. So which of these is accurate? I am anxiously waiting.
I am 20 years old, a student at Texas A&M, and UT Health is my top choice for my BSN. I also applied to Emory University, Texas A&M, and the University of Kansas.
So I just opened my transcript evaluation and was really happy to see my science and nursing GPA but unfortunately they aren’t counting two of my prerequisites for some reason so now I have to call first thing Monday to get it taken care of because without those two classes I do not meet the 40hrs of prerequisites so I need them to fix it ASAP ?

Which prerequisites aren’t they counting?
The art and the psychology. But I took an art history class which they said would fulfill that requirement and my psychology class was titled life span development which I feel is equivalent to growth and development so I feel as though it should count also. Hopefully they feel the same when I call. I emailed them and attached course descriptions just in case but I’ll definitely be calling first thing on Monday.
