Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!
I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.
Stats:
HESI Overall: 92.4
Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88
Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.41
My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!
I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).
I think it's just [email protected] that you could reach out to. I was sent one in the mail without reaching out so I'm not sure if this info is correct but probably a good start!
Do y’all know if they take a priority for student who applied first? Meaning they have all their information, hesi, application, transcript etc in the system first? I just have heard that some school are like that which is why I’m asking? I’m trying to apply for the upcoming semester since I have yet to take the HESI Exam.
Hey Nutritionursing I don’t believe they choose applicants that way but you never know I guess since the one common thing in alllll the threads I’ve read (and I’ve read ALOT) is that no one knows their method for picking.
And bchenriq I don’t believe they have sent any out recently. I have been looking in my mailbox and nothing so far. I even emailed two different people today and one of the things I asked was about the transcript evaluation but I did not receive anything back but if I do I’ll be sure to post it here.

Lol thank you! Yea I applied for the Summer 2019 so I have my fingers super crossed all the time lol and yea it would be nice if they gave everyone that chance but we just gotta keep thinking that regardless it will all work out in the end.

Hi Tech2Nurse! If it is any consolation I think we should be hearing acceptance decisions by the beginning of March based off of the 2018 summer thread. Maybe with wishful thinking even the end of February ?. So hopefully only one more month to wait.
