I know its a bit early to start this forum seeing as the deadline is September 1; however, I wanted to have a place to communicate with all the people applying for the spring semester. we might be able to help each other out with information about deadlines, application status, plus its also nice to talk with people going through the same thing as you. I'll just start by introducing myself.

My name is Edera,

I am currently a senior in High School. I will be graduating High School with my Associate's degree, thanks to the dual credit classes I have been taking. When I finish High School I will have 40 of the 60 credit hours completed. I will be taking Chemistry, Microbiology, and Growth & Development in the Summer, and then Intro to Sociology, Statistics, and Nutrition in the Fall. I have yet to take my Hesi, I plan on taking it in June or August. I plan on starting the application this week.

Checked my UTH account around 4:15pm today and was "conditionally admitted."

I was denied Fall 2018 for UT Health, I have been pretty quiet on this thread. I checked my UT Health account this afternoon and saw that I was admitted. An option popped up for me to "accept" or "decline." I was unable to pay the deposit yet (because it hasn't shown up) So, check your accounts!

I was also accepted to UTMB, but UT Health is my first choice. Which do you think you will pick?

I'm honestly stumped. Both are stellar programs...UTMB felt friendlier to me than UT Health. I live in the Woodlands too so UT Health saves me a lot of gas. I'll have to do some research.

So I checked my email after not seeing my portal updated and I received an acceptance email at 4:36 to my personal email!

Now to decide between SHSU & UTHealth.

You guys!!! I got the email at 4:36 pm. I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED! I am so grateful and wishing ALL the luck the world to those who are still waiting to hear. Congratulations to those that have also been accepted and NEVER give up to those who did not get in this time.
