I know its a bit early to start this forum seeing as the deadline is September 1; however, I wanted to have a place to communicate with all the people applying for the spring semester. we might be able to help each other out with information about deadlines, application status, plus its also nice to talk with people going through the same thing as you. I'll just start by introducing myself.
My name is Edera,
I am currently a senior in High School. I will be graduating High School with my Associate's degree, thanks to the dual credit classes I have been taking. When I finish High School I will have 40 of the 60 credit hours completed. I will be taking Chemistry, Microbiology, and Growth & Development in the Summer, and then Intro to Sociology, Statistics, and Nutrition in the Fall. I have yet to take my Hesi, I plan on taking it in June or August. I plan on starting the application this week.

I just feel like most of the dates I saw from past threads were Oct twenty-something. lol. I've had next Thursday set in my mind as the best chance, although I would happily welcome decisions today!! haha.

I was hoping to hear back yesterday but the waiting continues. I am very nervous because I don't have the greatest stats but I hope things work out for all of us. Goodluck to everyone!!!

A&P- 96
Math- 96
Overall- 90.8
and overall GPA 3.94, nursing GPA 4.0, Science GPA 4.0
I'm worried mostly about HESI score, but it seems like acceptances are all over the place so who knows! Good luck everyone :)
Those are amazing scores and gpa all around! Be proud! I think its so easy to compare ourselves to others and how they did especially when people say that they didn't do that well and their score is higher than yours :/
you're right! at the end of the day anyone who applies at UTHealth must be very very smart to fit into their criteria for acceptance we should all be pretty proud of ourselves.
I was denied Fall 2018 for UT Health, I have been pretty quiet on this thread. I checked my UT Health account this afternoon and saw that I was admitted. An option popped up for me to "accept" or "decline." I was unable to pay the deposit yet (because it hasn't shown up) So, check your accounts!
