I know its a bit early to start this forum seeing as the deadline is September 1; however, I wanted to have a place to communicate with all the people applying for the spring semester. we might be able to help each other out with information about deadlines, application status, plus its also nice to talk with people going through the same thing as you. I'll just start by introducing myself.
My name is Edera,
I am currently a senior in High School. I will be graduating High School with my Associate's degree, thanks to the dual credit classes I have been taking. When I finish High School I will have 40 of the 60 credit hours completed. I will be taking Chemistry, Microbiology, and Growth & Development in the Summer, and then Intro to Sociology, Statistics, and Nutrition in the Fall. I have yet to take my Hesi, I plan on taking it in June or August. I plan on starting the application this week.
Hope to see many of you here, so that we are able to help out one another. Good Luck everyone!!
Hey!
i am also applying to UTH for spring. I recently graduated from Texas A&M main with a BS in Nutrition and 2 minors (CHEM and BIOCHEM). Im very excited for UTH since it is one of my top choices, along with UTMB. I have received an interview invite from UTMB but im more excited about UTH. My overall GPA is 3.2, Nursing GPA is also 3.2, Science GPA is 3.0. My HESI was an 89 with all sections above 85. My stats are obviously not stellar but i'm hoping that my previous degree and extracurriculars help me out a bit.
Goodluck to all of us!
Also, I am inputting my HESI scores under "test scores" in the application. Are we supposed to do each component individually (MATH, A&P, VOCAB), or our overall HESI score? Thanks!
If I recall correctly (it's been some time since I submitted that portion of my application), you do list each section individually.
I completely forgot about the webinar last Friday! Had a lot of things to do & didn't set a reminder in my phone. Ugh! Anybody watch and get some good information?
I attended as long as I was able to, there are a few others that you could probably register for! I'll look back through my notes and see if there was anything shared that wasn't common knowledge already. I do remember them discussing what a typical week would be like each semester and they talked a little about the hospitals clinicals would take place in, which I thought was good to know. They stated that for the last semester they will try to place you at a hospital of your preference since the entire term is spent in clinical. I'll look over it and come back with what else I may have!
Hi all,I am a current student at UTH and I have a HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review book (4th edition) for sale. It is the best book for hesi preparation in my opinion. If anyone is interested you can pm me. All the best guys! You all will make it!
Hi!! How is the program?! Do you enjoy it?!

Yes!! It is a bit hectic as we are in the summer semester. Apart from that it is a wonderful program with amazing faculty and staff who are willing to help at all times. Upperclassmen have also been very helpful in keeping us motivated and giving us tips to perform better in the exams. Another plus point is their tutoring program. There is a good support system at UT Health and they all want you to succeed. .

Hey Everyone,
I am applying to UTH for Pacesetter Spring 2019 program as well. I took my HESI a year ago for a different school. Does anyone know what exact address to send our HESI transcript, as well as where to find the "Evolve ID"? I have tried calling UTH and Evolve with little help. Thanks so much, and good luck!
