UT Health Pacesetter BSN Fall 2018

I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!

I am applying for the fall with following stats:

Prereq GPA 3.65

Science GPA 4.00

HESI (just took it last Friday):

Reading 90

Vocab 92

Grammar 84

Math 96

AP 100

I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.

Ugh, I agree. I have really bad luck so I am preparing for the worst. I am just hoping that by chance I get in that would make my entire year.

I can't wait! This wait is so painful :(

Hi has anyone completed the scholarship application for UTHSC? It has the option to fill it out before you've been admitted but I'm not 100% sure if you're supposed to or not?

I did. They actually recommend doing so.

Hahah...yes, this is me also. In the meantime I have registered for a Fall class to try and boost a grade, just in case.

I did also. Part of me is hoping that if they see a scholarship app they will read it along with the application, this is the only place to really talk yourself up. Wishful thinking I know, but crossing fingers, legs, toes...lol

Today I got the transcript evaluation and what I have noticed they said I did not meet the requirements for the Fine Arts... I did Film Appreciation DRAM2366. Does this not count as Fine arts( Visual and Performing arts)? they took this class under my electives though.... but I have chosen Spanish 1 and BCIS class as my electives(Spanish 1 am currently finishing up)...

Sent them an email so I know if I have to take another summer class to do my Fine arts prerequisite...

On the UT BSN page it's one of the last options under the Financial Aid Section:

UTHealth School of Nursing Scholarship application

Hope this helps...I would try calling about your class. Seems as though some ppl have had better luck on the phone rather than email, but I'm sure if you do both you will get the answers you need.
